SMCR: Paperwork or Performance?

Trailight hosted it’s launch event in fabulous style at 58 Victoria Embankment in Central London. We were joined by over 70 professionals from across the industry (50% under the regime and 50% looking forward to Accountability II) to discuss SM&CR: Paperwork or Performance?

Topped and tailed by our CEO David McNair Scott the keynote was delivered by David Blunt (Head of Conduct Specialists, Supervision, FCA) who attacked the subject matter with gusto.  We then had an open panel session consisting of Peter Ewing from the FCA, Dirk Young from Barclays, John Liver from EY and our very own Callum Grant. The panel was mediated by Vaughn Edwards CEO of Medius Consulting who co-hosted the event and we had over an hour of interactive dialogue and enlightened the audience to some of the challenges and benefits of the implementation of SM&CR.

Drinks and canapés were held on the 6th floor with stunning views over the river where discussions flowed and relationships were forged.
