John MacElvogue is leading Trailight’s sales in Ireland, in particular, to support clients through the implementation of the Individual Accountability Framework in Ireland.
John has over 30 years of internal control, risk management and conduct experience in the retail, corporate and investment banking industry. This included senior roles in Barclays in the UK, Middle East, South Africa and Ireland.
His most recent roles have included supporting the implementation of Senior Manager’s regime in the Barclays UK ring-fenced bank; leading on the development of governance aspects of the Barclays licence to extend its activities in Ireland post the UK’s exit from the EU; and as the Chief Internal Auditor for Barclays Europe based in Dublin.
